Payment card - is an access key to your current bank account. Such account is called card account. Card accounts may function according to both credit and debit schedules consequently payment cards may be of two kinds: credit and debit cards.
While using debit cards (for payments in shops, Internet and cashing in cash machines) only the funds within the amount on card account are available.
Credit cards - allow you to spend both your personal funds on your card account and credit funds lent by the Bank.
Deposit cards - allow you to spend both your personal funds on your card account and you have a possibility to earn money because of high percent rate for balance of account.
Using payment cards you can:
- pay for goods and services (with no commissions);
- get cash from cash machines and POS;
- pay for goods and services via Internet;
- enjoy additional services for card owners;
- avoid customs declaration while traveling.
